An easy walk brings you to the buzzing district known as ‘Eat Street’, home to a plethora of world class restaurants bars, and designer boutiques. Fabled Oberoi Beach, with its legendary surf breaks, golden sand and iconic beach club, Ku De Da, is less than a kilometre from the villa.

Features and amenities

LOCATION – Central Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia.

CAPACITY – 13 people (5 ensuite bedrooms: 2 with king-size beds; 3 with twin/king beds). Media room and a second living room can be converted to a single bed, plus 1 extra bed all available at an additional cost.

LIVING AREAS – Living room; indoor dining for 10; outdoor dining for 20; 2 TV lounges; outdoor lounge and poolside balé.

POOL – 20m x 6m. 1.4m-2m depth.

STAFF – Villa manager; chef/cook; housekeeping; gardener; pool attendant; security; massage therapist and babysitter (extra charges apply).

DINING – Wide variety of western and Indonesian dishes available; requests accommodated (including special diets and children’s meals).  Groceries and beverages are charged at cost price plus 20%++ handling fee.

COMMUNICATION – Telephone; WiFi broadband internet access.

ENTERTAINMENT – Satellite TV; DVD player; DVDs and CDs; sound system with iPod connection; books and games.

SPA – A dedicated spa room with two massage beds is available for in-house treatments by professional therapists (additional charge applies).

FOR FAMILIES – Baby cot; highchair; books, games and toys; TV lounge suitable for kids and other equipment available for hire.

ADDITIONAL FACILITIES – Safety boxes; back-up generator; limited daily guest membership at Finns Recreation Club.

TRANSPORT – A private car with driver can be hired at USD 35++ per day excluding petrol.

The Layout –

Villa Shambala’s three single-storey pavilions all face the 20-metre pool.  The villa’s main living pavilion lies at the far end and houses the master suite, garden bedroom, living and dining areas, media lounge and well-appointed modern kitchen.

The guest pavilion is situated in complete privacy at the opposite end of the pool and comprises three ensuite bedrooms and the second TV room.

At the side of the pool is a private air-conditioned spa room with two massage beds, while comfortable outdoor seating and sun loungers are thoughtfully arranged poolside and throughout the gardens.
