平時因為季節氣候 有不同的規劃路線,當然 可以替包船的客人再次特別設計航程(費用可能會因為航程設計有不同);平日若也有零星的船客,亦提供分房間出租一同出遊,這是可以省下荷包的時候,但得每次詢問有無這種計畫;
Details — 50m / 8 cabins / 16 guests / 21 crew
Kudanil Explorer
Kudanil Explorer
Kudanil Explorer
Onboard Experience –
Kudanil Explorer
What We Love –
Kudanil Explorer

Yacht:
We have taken the time and given our expedition yacht further upgrades. After we completely re-designed our top deck, laid teak wood and added day beds, new sound system, we now also provide Starlink satellite internet enabling internet access virtually everywhere at significantly higher speeds than before.
Last November, we had renowned photographer Jack Johns aboard for a trip to the Spice Islands and Triton Bay/Papua and his images of yacht, landscape and activities are pure magic. Please see here the link to his photos (many of them also to be found in our Agent Sales Kit, especially in the “Boat Pictures” folder). The pictures are only to be used to promote the Kudanil Explorer. If you use the pictures on social media, please tag @kudanilexplorer as well as @jackjohns
Please adjust your Kudanil Explorer marketing material / listing accordingly and exchange pictures that still show the “old” look without the teak decking, large dining table and daybeds.
Toys:
We have added 2 Jetskis to our repertoire that we use for assistance in the surf during our surf trips. We also added an inflatable pool last year, more fishing gear, a quiver of beginner surfboards (soft & hard top), etc.

- Cruise #1: 13 – 20 Sep 2024 | Komodo & Moyo
- A wonderful week-long trip with Dr. Lawrence Blair* exploring the highlights of Komodo National Park as well as the spectacular around around Moyo Island, ie. Satonda Island, Saleh Bay with its whale shark population and Moyo Island’s stunning waterfall. Diving and snorkeling with whale sharks and Manta Rays, exploring volcanoes and pink beaches, sunset cocktails on pristine beaches.

- Cruise #2: 20 – 28 Sep 2024 | Bali & Komodo
- Due to the success of last year’s edition: A joint trip with Capella Ubud Resort (in Bali) hosted by Dr. Lawrence Blair*. From Jungle to Sea (3 nights at Capella Ubud Bali, 5 nights aboard the Kudanil Explorer). We slightly adjusted last year’s formula: Spend 8 nights in total and explore the myths of Bali as well as the highlights of Komodo National Park! Explore the magnificent underwater world, dive or snorkel with Manta Rays, Turtles and Reef Sharks. Get face-to-face with the endemic and (in-)famous Komodo Dragons. Laze on virgin beaches, stroll along white and pink sandy beaches, and hike Padar Island for spectacular sunset views. Or watch it from our Jacuzzi aboard.

Sabine Templeton, resident marine biologist at the famous Misool Resort, will host you on this trip through the Spice Islands and her “backyard” Southern Raja Ampat. This expedition really is a unique combination of history and nature, right in the heart of the coral triangle which is often referred to as ‘the species factory’ due to its unbelievable number of fish and coral species. In short: possibly the richest coral reef ecosystem in the world.

*Dr. Lawrence Blair is an explorer, filmmaker, author, and public speaker on the peoples and creatures of Indonesia. A resident of Bali, he has assisted and led marine expeditions throughout the archipelago since the Lindblad Explorer – the first genuinely exploratory tourist ship – broached the Spice Islands in l978. His onboard companions have included Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Sir Peter Scott, Ron & Valerie Taylor, Sir Michael Cowdray, Baron Von Schenk, Larry Summers, Richard Dawkins and numerous luminaries less publicly known in the fields of science. Amongst other works, he is also the writer, presenter, and co-producer (with his late brother Lorne) of the BBC TV adventure series “Ring of Fire”, winner of two EMMY awards, aired in over sixty nations and introduced by Richard Gere.
**Sabine Templeton is a marine scientist and conservation biologist with a passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Marine Science and Conservation Biology. Her work experience spans across various exotic locations, including the Hawaiian Islands, the Caribbean, Fiji, and the Indonesian Archipelago. Over the past 10 years, she has specialized in luxury dive and snorkel experiences, focusing on some of the most remote and pristine coral reefs on the planet. Notably, she spent six years as the Dive Center Manager at the Misool Resort in Raja Ampat, a renowned conservation-focused resort. During her tenure, Sabine also served as the Director of the Misool Manta Project, contributing critical data and co-authoring a scientific paper on population demographics. Aside from her work in marine science, Sabine is also a talented underwater photographer. Behind the lens of her camera, she captures the breath-taking beauty of the underwater world, documenting everything from the tiniest nudibranchs to majestic Whale sharks.

On the Kudanil Explorer, each Indonesian voyage is a timeless, unforgettable adventure through some of the most remote and beautiful landscapes in the world. Accompanied by expert guides on a vessel built for exploration and designed for comfort, the Kudanil Explorer allows you to tailor your trip of a lifetime through this fascinating archipelago. The vessel follows the monsoon and journeys from East to West to sail in calm seas and avoid rain.
KOMODO / NTT
Nusa Tenggara Timur (East Nusa Tenggara) is a province of more than 500 islands and an ecoregion high in biodiversity, with rich marine fauna and smoking volcanoes. The region is perhaps best known for the islands of the Komodo national park: here be dragons. We venture beyond Komodo: from the crater lakes of Kelimutu and the terraced rice fields of Detusoko to the picturesque villages and pristine nature of Ngada, we voyage through fjords and relax on deserted beaches, encounter scenery that ranges from arid steppes to gushing waterfalls, experience ikat traditions, local cultural practices and enjoy warm welcomes in rarely-visited places. These are islands lost in time, where centuries-old ancestral cultures can still be experienced today.
THE SPICE ISLANDS
The ‘spiceries’ were for centuries the most sought-after islands in the world, capturing the European imagination and inspiring Columbus to undertake his famous journey westward. Relive the Spice Island voyages of adventurers throughout history and discover the best of Wallacea, a region that is a key contributor to the mega-biodiversity of the Indonesian archipelago, a waypoint for migratory birds and marine life. Snorkel in remote waters, see diverse species of birds and set anchor at the legendary Banda Islands, the original source of nutmeg and mace and now home to some of the most resilient coral and breathtaking underwater worlds. Travel back in time among nutmeg and cinnamon plantations and colonial architecture. One of the smallest of the Banda Islands, Pulau Rhun, was ‘exchanged’ by the British in the 17th century for another island at the other side of the world, a place known today as Manhattan.
PAPUA / RAJA AMPAT / TRITON
The unique, endemic flora and fauna of Papua were key to Wallace’s understanding of the evolution of species — he proposed the theory of natural selection at the same time as Darwin, who was motivated to publish after reading Wallace’s reports from Indonesia. This fascinating biodiversity that holds the secret to our existence can still be witnessed today. Experience spectacular diving among pristine coral, magnificent marine life and fascinating historical wrecks. From Raja Ampat to Triton Bay, discover awe-inspiring waterfalls, towering mountains, undisturbed nature, underwater caves, rainforest, beachcombing, mangroves and fjords. Unforgettable hikes and stunning panoramas, karst pinnacles and lagoons, sunsets on picture-perfect deserted beaches await.
