Restaurant and Bar –

Amankila’s open-sided Restaurant is located above the main pool overlooking the ocean. Open for dinner, its menu features both Indonesian and Western dishes, with free-range duck reared on the resort’s farm in Jasri a specialty. Begin your evening with a drink in the Bar alongside the Restaurant, a lofty-ceilinged space with the same awe-inducing views.

Terrace –

Set back from the signature three-tier pool, the Terrace is open for breakfast and lunch, offering a selection of Asian and Western fare with panoramic sea views. Fresh herbs come from the resort’s own garden, while locally sourced fruit and vegetables are the result of Mount Agung’s fertile soil. Choose to dine in one of the private poolside bales, seemingly perched between ocean and sky.

Beach Club –

A simple menu of salads and pizzas along with Indonesian and light Western dishes are served at the Beach Club for brunch, lunch, and afternoon tea. Overlooking the resort’s largest swimming pool, the Beach Club is located behind the beach in a peaceful coconut grove. Drinks and light meals can also be enjoyed in eight secluded lounging bales right on the sand.

Located in the unspoilt Eastern region of Bali, there are many opportunities for exploration by bike. One of the most popular routes, Budakeling to Ujung, begins in the shadow of Mount Agung and takes guests past Tirta Gangga Water Palace, along quiet village roads and emerald-green rice terraces.

Trekking –

Pass through the villages of old Bali and stumble across traditional Balinese festivals, or climb to the top of Mount Batur to watch the sunrise over Mount Agung and Mount Abang. A multitude of trekking options are available from Amankila.

East Bali Tour –

Tailored to the interests of individual guests, Amankila’s East Bali Tour takes approximately three hours and includes the highlights of the region. With a private driver and guide, travel from the ancient village of Tenganan to the temples and royal palaces of the area, gaining insight into the region’s royal past.
