Baliberkarya.com reports that a gala grand opening of the new Starbucks Dewata Coffee Shop located in Jalan Sunset Road No. 77 in Kuta Bali was planned for Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2019.
The inauguration of the newest Starbucks among some 30,000 worldwide was intended to be the grandest of affairs. Occupying a 3,500 square meter site in Bali’s busy restaurant-shopping-nightlife Mecca of Kuta, an impressive lift of VIPs had been invited to join the festivities. The guest list included The Minister of Communications and Information, Rudiantara; The Minister for Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, Eko Putro Sanjoyo; and the expert staff of The Minister of Tourism, Professor Dr I Gde Pitana Brahmanananda. Also on hand were the CEO of Starbucks, Kevin Johnson and Anthony Cottan as the Director of Starbucks Indonesia.
Designed as a coffee sanctuary, the expansive almost 7000 square metre store highlights local craftsmanship and culture alongside premium coffee in this one-of-a-kind coffee experience, a sort of “origin-centered version” of the Starbucks Roasteries, igniting all five senses.
