Location

Villa Pushpapuri is located on the River Wos estuary at Pabean Beach in the village of Ketewel in south-east Bali. Bordered by rice fields, tobacco plantations, papaya, banana and coconut groves, the property is blessed with spectacular sea views extending towards the southern beaches, Nusa Penida Island and Mt Agung.

Pabean was once a small port used by oriental traders; the neighbouring village of Saba produced Bali’s finest Legong dancers, and local temple ceremonies are a common sight. The river estuary is full of birdlife, while the glistening black-sand beach offers beautiful walks; it is popular with surfers but swirling currents (and no lifeguards) make it unsafe for swimming.

This idyllic coastal retreat offers a chance to experience traditional Balinese life, but is only 30 minutes’ drive from the airport, the fascinating cultural capital of Ubud, and the boutiques, bars and dining delights of Seminyak. With a car and driver at your disposal (special daily rate of US$ 25++),  Villa Pushpapuri is perfectly placed for exploring the best of Bali.

Features and amenities

LOCATION – Pabean Beach, Ketewel, south-east Bali, Indonesia.
CAPACITY – 8 people (2 with king-size beds; 1 with queen and 1 with twin beds). Baby cots and extra beds are available on request at additional cost.
LIVING AREAS – Living and dining pavilion with indoor dining for 8; outdoor dining for 6; poolside balé; home theatre; games room; indoor and poolside bars.
POOL – 20m x 5m. 1.3m-1.6m depth.
STAFF – Full-time manager; 2 chefs; 2 butlers; 2 housekeepers; 3 security; 2 gardeners; driver. Additional staff (eg babysitters, masseuses, yoga instructor) available on request.
DINING – A wide variety of Western, Asian and vegetarian dishes are available for in-house dining. Groceries and beverages are charged at cost price (subject to service charge and government tax).  Off-menu requests are also accommodated (including special diets).
COMMUNICATION – Complimentary WiFi broadband internet access throughout; mobile telephone supplied to guests; landline telephone for local and international calls (charged to guest).
ENTERTAINMENT – Pool table; satellite-channel TVs; DVD/CD players; iPod docks; home theatre room.
FOR FAMILIES – Villa Pushpapuri is well equipped for families. Facilities include toys, games and DVDs, baby cot and high chair.
