The beautiful traditionally styled Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa rests on the shores of a pristine black-sand beach in the peaceful rural village of Pererenan, on Bali’s southwest coast. Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa comprises a main four-bedroom villa and a secluded two-bedroom riverside guesthouse offering six bedrooms in total, a glorious open-sided living and dining pavilion, lush gardens and an 18-metre infinity edge pool.

Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa is a vast rural estate on Bali’s south-west coast, within easy reach of Seminyak, Tanah Lot and Echo Beach. With over 100 metres of absolute beach frontage overlooking one of Bali’s famed surf breaks, it delivers spectacular ocean views from almost every room.

This fully staffed six-bedroom villa, with skilled chef and friendly manager, comprises a four-bedroom main house (which can be rented on its own) and a delightful two-bedroom guesthouse set privately from the main villa with views over a coconut grove. Luxurious living space includes a charming thatched pavilion facing an 18-metre pool.

To one side of the immaculate landscaped gardens, a coconut grove provides an idyllic space for weddings and other special celebrations. From here, a pretty timber walkway meanders down to the deserted beach – an unforgettable setting for nuptial vows.

CAPACITY –

12 people (Main house:  2 king and 2 king rooms convertible to twins;  Guesthouse:  1 king and 1 twin-bedded room).  2 extra beds may be set up for 2 kids (extra charge applies).

Car and driver available for 8 hours at a special rate of USD35++/day (excluding petrol).

EVENTS –

Events catering for up to 200 people can be held at the coconut grove within the villa’s  spacious grounds when all six bedrooms are rented.  Smaller events for up to 60 guests (or 40 seated) can be held on the lawns in front of the villa.

The Layout –

Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa has been designed to optimise its extraordinary beachfront setting and ocean views.  A large open-sided living pavilion fashioned after a traditional Balinese wantilan (village meeting hall) forms the villa’s social hub.  To one side is the master bedroom pavilion with a private lounge.  To the other, a two-storey building contains three guest bedrooms and next to it is a privately positioned delightful two-bedroom Joglo guesthouse with its own kitchenette and dining areas. Set well back from the main living and dining pavilions is a chef’s kitchen and staff service area.  In between, a path leads to the full-size tennis court (shared with a neighbouring villa).

Amongst the lush gardens is an 18-metre swimming pool and sundeck and a private coconut grove, complete with large tiled balé pavilion, that makes an idyllic wedding venue.

Indoor Living

• Huge open-sided wantilan (village meeting hall) pavilion with two-tiered thatched roof and polished cream terrazzo floors makes up the social hub of the villa
• Guests can savour the incredible ocean views from a range of lounging and dining options including oversized couches, a huge 14-seater dining table or the coconut-shell bar
• The river- and sea-view lounge and veranda in the guesthouse offer a more intimate venue for dining or socialising
