This packages start with our zesty lime and ginger salt glow to exfoliate and renew tired looking skin and is followed with a full body massage and Biokos facial. Total bliss!

Mint To Be – 2 hours

15-minute refreshing Lime Foot Soak followed by our 30-minute Mint and Aloe Body Scrub and a 75-minute full body scrub using our unique Spearmint massage oil. This dual cooling and warming scrub is refreshing and hydrating and the aloe vera leaves your skin soft, smooth, and radiant, as dead skin cells are gently buffed away without disturbing the skin’s natural PH balance. You will walk away lighter on your feet after the massage manipulates muscles and uplift your soul thanks to the power of spearmint essential oil.

Tropical Flower Power – 2 hours

15-minute refreshing Lime Foot Soak followed by our Frangipani body scrub and 75-minute full body massage with our beautiful Frangipani massage oil. This Bali experience in gentle while the frangipani scrub buffs and exfoliates away impurities to reveal, soft, smooth, and vibrant skin. The hydrating extract of macadamia nut and jojoba oil nourishes revitalizes and hydrates skin. Balancing frangipani essential oil will leave you begging for more.

Perfection – 2 hours

PRE-CARE AND POST-CARE FOR SPRAY TANS

• For best results, exfoliate with dry body brushing first to allow for more even coverage and the longevity of your tan.
• Book your tan to be applied 1-2 days before your event for the best results. Express tans can be booked for same day events, however only select these if time is a factor as they tend not to last as long.
• If you have never used self tan products before (these can be professional or home tans), we recommend a test patch 48 hours prior. We apply a small amount of the self-tan product with a cotton bud to the inner crease of the elbow or behind the ear and leave to dry. If any contra-actions occur such as redness, swelling, inflammation, or itching, avoid using the product as this is a positive reaction for sensitivity. If no reaction occurs then it is considered fine to proceed with the full-body application.
• If you wax, please do so at least 48-72 hrs prior to your tan application.
• If you shave, please do so the night before your tan application, and apply a good quality hydrating moisturizer afterward (remembering to wash this off before your tan appointment – see point 6).
• Use a loofah or mitt to thoroughly exfoliate the skin prior to your tan appointment (complete this in the shower you have on the day of your appointment).
• Avoid applying moisturizer, lotions, or body scrubs that leave an oily residue on the day of your appointment. These will act as an inhibitor to the tan and may negatively affect the final result.
• Bring dark-coloured, lightweight, and loose clothing to wear after your tan to avoid marking light clothing, or rubbing the tan off, and to feel most comfortable. A strapless bra or bathing suit is recommended to protect rubbing in the shoulder area, especially if you are wearing a strapless dress to an upcoming event.

• Leave the tan on for 1-5 hours to develop before showering, or overnight for the deepest, longest-lasting colour.
• Remember to sleep on dark sheets to avoid marking bedding.
• Have light, cooler showers if you wish to maximize tan longevity.
• Moisturise daily to preserve the tan for the longest time. For an extra colour boost, try NakedTan Gradual Tan, a moisturizer with a hint of tan.
• Wear SPF sunblock every day – self-tan does not offer any sun protection.

• To help the tan fade evenly, exfoliate every 3 days with a tan-specific exfoliant.
• Use a tan remover mitt when you are ready to remove the tan, generally after 7-10 days.

Threading…The Old Tradition

Threading is a time-old tradition of hair removal practiced in many Asian and Arabic nations and has gained popularity in the West. Hair is removed in an entire row resulting in a straighter line. Your practitioner uses twisted cotton thread to pull out the hair at the roots, leaving the area hair-free.

• Eyebrow style – 15 minutes

WAXING PRE CARE

• Please arrive with clean skin (no moisturizer and preferably no makeup). Antibacterial wipes are provided to freshen up prior to intimate and underarm waxing.
• Hair must generally be at least 3-4mm to be waxed effectively. Please trim any very long hairs in the area if possible. A length of between 5mm (0.5cm) and 10mm (1cm) is best for comfort and results. We will happily trim for you if required using sanitised equipment.
• If you are particularly sensitive or is this is your first wax, you may wish to take a Panadol or Nurofen 30-60 minutes prior to your appointment to take the edge of any discomfort.
• Wait 2 weeks after any IPL or Laser treatment before waxing.
• Please advise us if you have been taking accutane or steroidal medication, or any other medication that thins the skin.
• Wait at least 4 weeks post any superficial or medium depth peel.
• Wait at least 3 months post surgery.
• It is best for pregnant women to consult their doctor prior to any waxing, however it is generally safe to have a service after the first trimester.
• Do not wax if your skin is irritated, or if you have any active conditions or infections in the area such as rashes, cuts, eczema or coldsores. If you are taking Accutane, any steroidal or skin thinning medications you must let us know as you have a highly increased chance of side effects.
• It is necessary to remove your underwear for any intimate waxing beyond a basic bikini or brief wax. You will be provided a paper towel for coverage before your treatment. All of our waxing is performed by professional female therapists.

WAXING AFTERCARE

• Even with the best products and technique, skin needs time to calm post waxing. This may happen very soon after your treatment but can take between 48-72 hours.
• Please wear loose fitting clothing after waxing until the skin has calmed. Stockings and tight jeans can lead to irritation and ingrown hairs.
• For intimate waxing, please ensure that you wear undergarments made of cotton so the skin can breathe. Don’t wear silks or satins or until the skin has calmed.
• Avoid perfumes, antiperspirants and colognes in the area until the skin has calmed.
• After a wax, avoid chlorine pools, saunas, the gym, and hot tubs until your skin has calmed down, to minimise the risk of inflammation.
• Keep showers warm, not hot and do not engage in any vigorous exercise or sun exposure.
• Use sun protection at all times if outdoors. We recommend CosMedix non-irritant sunblock which we retail.
• Do not exfoliate and avoid any beauty treatments in the area for at least 48-72 hours and preferably a week, including spray tanning, sunbathing and sun-beds, laser, IPL, peels and massage.
• Once the waxed area has returned to normal, gently exfoliate each day using a suitable exfoliating wash or gentle loofah and apply a moisturiser or after-wax lotion.
• Use a proper after-wax lotion such as ‘Ingrown Zone’ commencing 48-72 hours after the treatment, and preferable daily, especially when regrowth begins to appear, to avoid ingrown hairs or infected follicles.
• Once a 6mm growth has returned the area can be waxed again. Waxing appointments are generally booked 4-6 weeks apart.

THE HAIR :

The cost of the hair depends on the quality, you don’t want to try and cheap your way with hair. Currently, we can locally purchase keratin glue or micro bead extensions from a Bali supplier. Although should you have your weft/tape extensions, we can help with the installation.

CUSTOM JOB:

You will be colour-matched to a swatch of hair to find the closest colour(s) to your hair. The hair may also need to be custom coloured for a perfect match, this is based on consultation.

One of the most important stages of the consultation is to match your hair colour to your desired colour extensions, making sure we have the closest match for your hair for beautiful blending and to make your new length look as natural as possible. This can involve the use of different coloured extensions which can be worked into your hair to achieve a blended, or highlighted effect which perfectly matches the colours and tones of your own hair.​

INSTALLATION:

We carefully prepare your new hair prior to your arrival to ensure you don’t need to spend longer in the chair than is necessary.

On the day of your application, we ask that you wash your hair but ensure that you do not apply any conditioner to the root area, as this may cause the bonds to slip.

The install process usually takes one to three hours depending on the method of hair you have booked. In the meantime, you can sit back and relax whilst we create your stunning new look.

Once all of your new extensions are in place we style your new longer, thicker hair so you can leave the salon feeling fabulous with your brand new look.

MAINTENANCE:

You’ll need to have your extensions moved up every 6 – 8 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows.

Know all the facts before you get extensions. This is why we urge our guests to always book in for a complimentary consultation with our stylist so they can find out what they want to achieve (length, volume, colour change etc.) and then advise the full cost.

The deposit will be required to confirm and get your hair extensions ready.

We do require a 50% deposit to purchase the hair as the supplier does not accept returns of hair once ordered.

 

DIGITAL & TEXTURE PERMS

1. Digital Perm or Permanent Blow Wave

When done properly, digital perming should produce big, soft curls that are more defined when the hair is dry. The entire process takes about three hours and more depending on the length and thickness of the hair. Because digi-perm uses heat, it cannot be used near the scalp.

• The curls from this kind of perm are bigger and look more natural.
• The procedure makes hair look smooth and shiny in comparison to cold wave.
• This kind of perm is best for Asian hair and not recommended for bleached or damaged hair.  However, always check with your stylist.

2. Cold wave or cold perm

This Is a process that has long been used by salons. In a cold wave perm, dry hair is sectioned and curled around a plastic rod, over which the cold wave solution is poured, completely soaking the hair. After fifteen minutes, another solution is applied to set the curls and neutralize the chemicals.

Typically, cold wave perms use small and medium plastic curlers, leaving you with kinky to medium curls which are more defined when wet.

• Curls tend to be smaller and are best defined when wet.
• It tends to be better suited for people with finer hair.
• To get the best results, you should use hair products like setting lotion, mousse, and Finesse curly hair products to make the curls stand out.

Taking Care of Your Perm

Getting a perm will permanently change your hair, and as a result, you will have to learn how to take care of your hair in a different way. You should expect to invest in products and a routine that will keep your hair looking good and make your investment last as long as possible. Ask your stylist for some recommendations on products you should get and how to use them.

Before Your Perm:

• Know if your hair can handle a perm. Schedule a consultation with your stylist and tell him or her about any hair coloring, highlighting, or texture services you’ve done on your hair. The more upfront you are, the better your results will be.
• Talk about the look that you want with your stylist. Be very specific. Use pictures and ask your stylist if the look is achievable with a perm. Sometimes photos from the Internet use hair extensions, a curling iron, or are the result of a natural wave. Your stylist can help you understand the difference and make the decision to perm or not to perm. It’s possible you might just need some curling tips.

Situations Where You Should NOT Get a Perm:

• You have coloured or chemically treated hair. The chemicals are too hard and will cause even more damage, and could cause your hair to break off at the scalp.
• You have dry hair. A perm will dry out your hair even more.
• You have many short layers. A perm could leave you looking like a poodle!
