What a year 2020 was. The travel industry has been one of the most severely hit by the global pandemic and the impact on the lives of all involved have been dramatic to say the least.
Sudamala Resorts, adhering to recommendations from the World Health Organisations (WHO), was among the first to made the extremely difficult decision to temporarily close our properties. This was done to ensure we remained true to our commitment to prioritise on the well-being of our team, guests and properties.
The continuing rapid development of the situation, including the roll out of vaccines around the world, has given us true cause for hope. While remaining cautious and diligent in following best practice to ensure health and safety, Sudamala Resorts is pleased to announce that we will reopen our doors at the following properties:

Sudamala Resort, Komodo, Flores, located in Labuan Bajo town, is the definitive 5-star beach-front tropical resort of the region. Joining forces with Aqura Dive with its own specially-built dive training facility and activity centre, Sudamala Komodo is bound to be a Labuan Bajo destination in its own right. Already awarded the Best Luxury New Resort at the World Luxury Hotel Awards, Sudamala Komodo will finally open its doors in 2021.
